My goal with this page was to make students feel that I am available and that I want to meet with them. It's important that online students do not feel a sense of isolation while taking classes. Lastly, I included a reference to using the class Q&A discussion forum for any general questions. After reading about how effective a Q&A forum can be, I was excited to include it as an option for students.
I'd love to meet with you personally in my office, but please feel free to contact me by phone or email as well. I will return phone and e-mail messages within 24 hours Monday-Friday.

If you have a question, it is important that (prior to getting in touch with me) you consult your syllabus and assignments. It is very likely that you will find the answer to your question. Also, if you have a general class question, remember to post it to our Q&A discussion forum so that others who may have the same question will benefit as well.
- I chose the above contact methods because they seem to be accessible to various students' needs. For those who would like to talk face-to-face, they are welcome to come to my office, but for those whose schedules might make an office visit difficult/impossible, I've also included e-mail and phone.
- I haven't placed any limits on contact since I haven't shared any personal/private accounts. The only limit is that students are asked to consult their syllabus and assignments prior to asking questions.
- I've separated personal and work availability by providing the days and times that I'm available in my office, as well as specifying that I will return e-mail and phone messages Monday-Friday.
